New CCF Grants Manager, Wendy Reading, highlights some of the grant opportunities available to support community groups and individuals in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.  Wendy says, “It has been amazing in my first few weeks to see the range of grants on offer through CCF.  However, deadlines apply to all these programmes, so I would urge people to browse what’s on offer to avoid missing out.”

The East Langsford Solar Farm Fund: supporting community projects in Kilkhampton, Launcells & Morwenstow.  Application deadline: 27 August. How to apply.  

The #iwillFund: funds social action activities that create opportunities for young people aged 10-20 to develop their potential and capacity to contribute to their community. Application deadline: 29 August. How to apply.

The Goldsmiths Fund for the Elderly: supports projects that improve the quality of life for older people, including improved access to services, regaining confidence and self esteem and taking part in community activities. Application deadline 29 August. How to apply.

Goonhilly Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund: for the benefit of groups and people in the TR12 postcode area. Application deadline: 2 September. How to apply.

Mental Health Fund for Children and Young People: providing opportunities to people aged 5 -25 to address loneliness, isolation, anxiety and depression. This round is specifically for individuals who should be referred by a private, public or voluntary sector organisation. Application deadline 30 September. How to apply.

Albert Van Den Bergh/Jane Hartley Fund: offering opportunities to grass roots community and voluntary groups in Newquay and surrounding areas to receive small grants to deliver projects for the benefit of their community and members. Application deadline 29 Aug. How to apply.

The Claire Milne Trust: supports disability projects with grants of up to £1,500 available to groups. Application deadline 29 August. How to apply.

China Clay Area Community Fund: for the benefit of St Austell, Fowey, St Enoder, St Dennis, St Stephens, St Mewan, Luxulyan, Lanlivery, St Blazey, Tywardreath and Treverbyn. This fund is especially interested in supporting cultural and social responsibility, youth and music projects and encouraging cohesion. Application deadline 29 August. How to apply.

Eddie and Vanessa George Memorial Fund: to train groups in information technology.  Application deadline 29 August. How to apply.

Lord St Levan Fund:  is aimed at community groups that relieve hardship, poverty and crisis intervention in Cornwall. A small proportion would be payable for cultural and musical purposes. Application deadline 29 August. How to apply.
