Lostwithiel Giant awarded funding from The Jack Moon and Lors Trust Fund

Lostwithiel has a long-standing tradition of giant making which has declined in recent years. A grant award of £500 from The Jack Moon and Lors Fund, a fund that supports community projects in Lostwithiel, has enabled a group of local volunteers, the Lostiwthiel Giantmakers, to come together to revitalise the Giant.


First community grants awarded by United Downs Community Benefit Fund

As part of its engagement with local communities, the United Downs Community Benefit Fund has awarded £10,950 grants to two local projects. The Fund is open to applications for communty projects in the parishes of Carharrick, Gwennap, Lanner and St Day Parish Councils.
