London celebrates Cornwall Community Foundation’s 15 years at Trinity House

We welcomed more than 175 Cornwall Club guests to Trinity House, London, on May 15th to celebrate the Foundation’s 15th anniversary. The Cornwall Club is an opportunity for people who have an affinity with Cornwall, but who live or work elsewhere, to support communities in need in the county.

President of The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF), Colonel Edward Bolitho OBE, welcomed guests and highlighted continuing social needs in Cornwall, the role of the Foundation over its 15 year history in strengthening local communities and the importance of supporting the Foundation to enable its work to develop.

Nikki Markham, Director of Together We Can Succeed, who are beneficiaries of CCF grant funding,  described the impact support from the Foundation has made in changing the lives of her charity’s clients.

Tom Van Oss, Trustee and Chair of the Cornwall Club, thanked existing Cornwall Club members for their support and encouraged new members to join, enabling The Foundation to help more Cornish communities in need.

The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of main sponsors Savills, CCLA and Foot Anstey.  Fee Turner Catering and her team produced delicious Cornish canapés. Drinks were kindly supplied by Sipsmith, St Austell Brewery, Camel Valley Vineyard, Healeys Cyder Farm and Cornish Natural Spring Water.
