Cornwall Women’s Fund launches at Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Club
The Cornwall Women’s Fund launched in style at the Lanhydrock Hotel & Gold Club on January 23rd. Over 50 guests heard from Founding Member Amanda Stratford about plans for the Fund and what it hopes to achieve, supporting women and girls across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Charlotte Carpenter from The Core youth project in Saltash spoke about the importance of funding from the Foundation, and the positive impact on the girls who had benefitted from the project. Guests enjoyed networking over drinks and canapes, and a real buzz of excitement was felt.
