Lanherne Fund Guidelines

    The Lanherne Fund aims to support community initiatives which focus on managing and improving, and cultivating people’s connection with, the natural environment in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

    In 2024, funding will be focused on supporting community farms, gardens and orchards across the county.

    Grants are available to support the groups’ work in their community. This includes, but is not limited to, outreach activities (one-off or ongoing) to attract new volunteers/ supporters/ customers particularly from underprivileged backgrounds, and education activities (one-off or ongoing) for children or adults to improve their understanding of environmental or ecological issues.

    Eligible costs include staff time, materials, marketing, insurance, transport, catering etc.

    Priority will be given to projects that reach new audiences and participants from underserved communities.

    Grants of up to £2,000 are available, but exceptional requests of £5,000 will be considered for outstanding projects.
