Cornwall Community Foundation’s out of county supporters raise over £200,000 at celebratory event in London.


The Foundation welcomed nearly 250 guests to a Gala Dinner at the Hurlingham Club, London. Hosted by best -selling author, TV presenter and Cornish resident, Fern Britton, the evening was an opportunity for people who love Cornwall but live and work elsewhere, to support communities in need in the county.

The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall meet Young and Talented Grant recipients during Falmouth visit


During their visit to the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth, to celebrate its 20th birthday, The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall met five young people who have recently received grant funding from Young & Talented Cornwall. Administered by CCF, Young & Talented Cornwall has granted in excess of £330,000 to Cornwall finest prospects who have barriers to fulfilling their promise without support.

Duchy Health Charity and Cornwall Community Foundation join forces to give more support in the cost of living crisis


We have received £50,000 from the Duchy Health Charity to help people struggling with the rising cost-of-living crisis. The funds provide grants to charities and community organisations who are facing increased demand due to the rising household costs. It provides a vital lifeline to communities and individuals across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

£74,000 distributed to Cornwall’s Foodbanks and voluntary organisations to help struggling communities


Last year’s Cornwall Christmas Fair at the Eden Project raised a record figure of £74,000 for the Cornwall Community Foundation. Funds will be shared between Young & Talented Cornwall, St Petrocs, Wild Young Parents CIC and the network of Foodbanks across Cornwall.

NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board launch new Mental Health & Wellbeing Programme with the Foundation


We have been allocated £300,000 from the NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board, to support community groups and organisations through a new ICB Mental Health & Wellbeing Programme. We are welcoming applications from organisations providing and promoting new initiatives to develop the emotional health and mental wellbeing of children and young people up to 25 years old across Cornwall.

Invaluable research measures Vital Signs of Cornwall


We have once again carried out our Vital Signs research and published a report on the findings. Vital Signs is a detailed analysis of a wide range of social measures across Cornwall that we commission every few years in order to direct the grant-giving where it is needed most.

Last month’s Cornwall Christmas Fair at the Eden Project raised a record high of £74,000 for communities across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The critical funds will go towards changing lives across Cornwall by supporting community and grassroots non-profit organisations. Thank you!

New fund tackling drugs related anti-social behaviour launched


Thanks to the Police and Crime Commissioner of Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly funds collected under the Police Property Act are now available as grant funding. Over £40,000 will be available from the newly launched Police Property Act Fund to be distributed between voluntary organisations providing diversionary activities from drugs-related anti-social behaviour.

Young & Talented Cornwall awards over £16,000 to stars in the making


The recent Young & Talented Cornwall grant panel awarded over £16,000 to more of Cornwall’s rising stars. A cello player, dinghy sailor, pentathlon athlete and sabre fencer were among the young talent to be awarded. These bright hopes for the future are the second cohort of the year to benefit from the fund which gives a helping hand to youngsters who may otherwise lack the means to reach their potential.
