Lucy Orr Interiors
Lucy Orr is passionate about the world of interior design and home building. Her mother was a talented interior designer and seamstress and along with her father an avid collector of Scottish and Russian Art. She grew up in a beautiful home in Scotland surrounded by a stunning collection of antiques from around the world as well as beautiful art and fabrics. As a family they travelled a lot to the States, Europe and the Far East so my influences stem far and wide.
Lucy worked on her first house renovation in 1998 and since then has undertaken a number of building projects: period renovations, conversions and new builds of varying scales both commercial and residential as well as the interiors of existing houses. When she undertook her training she developed a classical approach to her work but she does not impose a signature style on any client. She has huge respect for the expertise and knowledge of all the other craftsmen she works with on any job.
Lucy combines a down to earth, happy and positive attitude and many years of experience to create timeless, beautiful and functional spaces tailored to the needs and lifestyle of the client.
Living in Cornwall but undertaking work for clients anywhere in the UK and overseas, Lucy Orr Interiors offers a range of services from new build interior design and project management to simply making a pair of curtains or sourcing an individual piece of artwork or furniture. Any project can be planned with you from start to finish – whatever the size, no job is too big or too small.
