Cornwall Glass is a family owned business specialising in the manufacture, production and installation of glass and glazing products for commercial, trade, architectural and domestic customers. Cornwall Glass has long embraced the idea of community support and in 2009 established their acorn fund with the Cornwall Community Foundation. The acorn fund soon grew into the charitable Cornwall Glass Fund which has invested more than £130,000 to over 100 community projects within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to date.

This year Cornwall Glass is welcoming applications from organisations which support people in one of the priorities below:

1.         In work poverty/working poor – to help people in poverty

2.         Lack of opportunities – to improve opportunities and skills

3.         Rural isolation – to respond to lack of services and support

4.         Housing – to respond to the housing crisis by funding groups tackling the immediate needs of homelessness.

5.         Environment – to mitigate the impact of pollution or climate change

Grants range from £500 – £1,500.

The fund will support core costs on the condition one of the above priorities are met.

Deadline to apply is 29th April.
